The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Company’s Human Resources Manager on all personnel matters, including, but not limited to, developing HR documents; liaising with key members of staff within the group of companies, as well as processing weekly and monthly payroll.
THE ROLE
- Assist with the processing of monthly and weekly payroll for multiple companies using Paypak
- Complete and submit the statutory deductions within the stipulated timeframes to the relevant authorities
- Assist the management with recruiting and interviewing potential applicants based on experience, skills, and education
- Assist with the development of contracts and any other employment-related documents
- Assist with updating the HRIS system
- Assist with any employee relations or industrial relations matters
- Perform administrative tasks
- Assist with disciplinary investigation
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a human resources position or related position
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
- Sound knowledge of the governing labour laws
- Experience with using Paypak will be an asset
- The ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
